Is anyone running the small finned trans coolers? I have been looking at them and wondered if they are any good? Im looking at either an 8" or 12". Let me know if they are worth buying? and Ill need some mounting ideas!

Used the 12" version of this on Momma's truck. Mounted it right behind the grille. No problems even in 100+ weather.

Yup thats the one im looking at. I dont have a lot of room up front so I was thinking under the cab. Not too sure on it.

I run the dual pass 18" finned cooler on my rod. Has worked great the past 2 summers and over 10,000 miles. It's always better to keep the tranny cooler than skimping on cost and size, so go bigger.

Running same 18" double pass.....no problems here either!!!
My friend runs one on his blown 55 Chevy for the past few years.....maybe 10-15K miles on it...no problems! That's what sold me on them!!!
