I'm running 33''tall tires on the rear of my T and a 72 nova 3 speed sagina in it too,i put an auto meter speedo in it .I must be runnin an airplane gear right now and its rough on the clutch ,but plenty of top end .
How do i figure out what would be the best gear to buy for it??? I would like to be able to do a decient burn out too though.
I realize thats asking a lot from a 3 speed but in this light bucket i think it should work well .

hey chopper tom, heres a link to a great chart for figuring cruise rpm at mph. with different gear ratio's and tire combo's keep in mind you should take into consideration the power curve, (or power band) of your engine, to get the most out of your rod. you want everything to work together to give you the best of both worlds, enough low end to blister the hides and still be able to cruise at 70 mph. and not rev 6500 rpm. dp1
