You are wanting to take the t5 out and put the t10 in correct? I went the other way with my 67 ford truck and took a top loader (came after the t10) out and put a tko 3550 in. I don't believe that will be a direct swap. The t10 and top loader had different transmission to bell housing patterns. The t5 also has a longer input shaft and I believe more splines than the t10. So you would need to get a clutch with the correct spline count and swap to a shallow bell housing as well. I'm not sure what year mustangs had hydraulic clutches in them, but yours may. If so you would need to adapt the hydraulic clutch to the old bell housing (I think they still sell the bracket online) or change the car over to mechanical linkage. Ford takes great pleasure in making parts that "almost" interchange, this is an good example of it [P
