shifter issues...???

i know this may not be about comparable to about 95% of you, but im gettin no help on the toyota or import forums with this, so worth a shot.

i have a 1jzgte swap, auto trans, etc. i want to run a different style shifter than the stock supra auto one. can the automatic tranny from a supra link up to many of the moderate named shifter units on todays market? hurst, b&m, etc.

Automatic transmission
Type A 342 E
Type Electronic control planet wheel type * 3 element 1 step 2 phase shapes * lockup clutch mechanism to be attached

4-spd auto

I guess if the import forums can't help you there is a good chance you can't do what you have in mind. Now if you want to drop a sbc 350 and powerglide in that import I think we can help..[cl..just kidding with you but good luck with your project..

im done with the sbc, lol, but thanks anyways. ill hope that i can get some progress and some answers from a couple buddies and hope for the best.
