This a 1978 Honda CB400A chopper that I had for the last three years. I think it time for a rebuild. These are the pictures of how it looks before the rebuild

The start of the rebuild. Installed the new tank. (The one with all the acorns in). And some pictures of tail light ideas.

I plan on lowering the back about 4 inches Poor mans hardtail. going to replace the shocks with struts. There will be more picture of the rebuild as it get done.

Made a bracket for the tail light and mounted it. Also fitted and sportster seat to the bike.

Some pictures of the license plate bracket and frame. The eye in the skull will light up red with the brake light

had to build the frame with the numbers upright. No more vertical mounted plates in Pa.

i"m diggin it!! just a suggestion..take some steel fuel line and bend it to conform the inside fender and tack weld it. run you wires through it and they will never get on you tire to rub

Back when I was in high school I worked for an old burnout painting custom bikes. I did most of the painting because he was always into the nose candy.

I also use to custom paint mailboxes and sell them. Although I have to give my daughter credit for the business logo.
 
Some more pictures. ITS ALL MOST DONE. Still need to finish the shifter, exhaust and some odds and ends.

The eyes on the skull light up when you apply the brakes. Not sure if I like the seat.
