im looking to buy a tig to start learning on i have done some welding with a tig but i would like to look more seriously into buying one i have been looking at a miller diversion series quiet a bit but when i use a tig i would like to weld the more exotic metals like brass copper and so on will a 165 do that? how thick will it weld? any other welders that are in that price range that are better then this? about 1300 sorry for cluttering this forum lol i need alot of advice thanks guys and gals zeth

hobart makes a slick small tig. it is ac or dc so you can weld ferrous and non-ferrous metals. I think the whole unit less tank is $1100-$1200. works well too.
