The first thing I have to share is my lead bricks. I used these back when I was building a few race chasis and they seem to have endless uses. I made them by recycling wheel weights. YES, it's lead and it is toxic so whatever your process, be careful........wear a respirator and gloves, and don't expose water to the liquid lead; it will explode!

I created a mold from a piece of channel and kept tweaking it until I could produce a brick that weighed 10lbs. I have made 20 of these things and use them all the time when I need a weight for something.

The other simple thing I thought I would share is my scrap metal rack. It's actually an old bread rack from a grocery store. The store mgr. let me have it because it had a bad caster on it. I use some of the old Coke plastic trays as bins to seperate and sort out my scrap metals. I keep all angle in one, all square tubing in another, etc.........
