Red and green also used on aircraft, but I don't think they're off a WW2 bomber.

I concur with the DR "aviation" the cords are the give away.

I see no marking inside or out, not even on the lens.

Looks blue in the pic. I was thinking '60's motorcycle cop. Lol.
