Any idea what this grill shell is from?

I got this with some other stuff I bought a while back and the guy had no idea what it was out of. I am thinking of selling it but have no idea what it goes to.[S

Anyone have any idea? I was thinking late 30s GM car or some sort but I am just guessing.
