Got my '36 Chevy off of the trailer today, and into the garage.

Tacked the rear end to the frame & had to roll it out so I could I could get some pics to share with you guys.

Enjoy,
-Mike-

A guy in our club has a '35 Chevy sedan. It's probably my overall favorite car in the club. He puts more miles on that thing in a summer than I probably put on my daily in a year!
Should make a very cool project- good luck with it.

This is the car I brought home last Friday.

I'm hoping to have this car on all fours by next weekend.

I think I can get it on the road by late spring or early summer.

I'll be keeping you all updated.

Hey Mike, that 57 wagon looks familiar, how much is he asking for it. also Did you take that rig to your new place in Pasco, or is it here in Kennewick? if i am not mistaken, that would be in the 300 block of Irving?

Glad to see you picked it up.

$15k o.b.o. for the wagon.
...300 block of Irving?...very funny.

Anyway, the car is at it's new home in pasco. I'll PM you with our address later so you can stop by incase your in the area & want to stop by.

What's the caddy engine for? I'd usr it instead of the stovebolt.
The Caddy mill is out of my '65 DeVille Conv. (cracked ring or something...bad blow by). Also the 302 Jimmy doesn't need rebuilt. Very nice engine.

Besides I've always wanted to build a vintage inline 6. And you nothin says traditional hot rod like a 302 Jimmy, & if I see another 350/350 combo I think I'm gonna scream!

New Pics from this weekends progress on my "Jimmy '36".

Made a front cross member last night & tacked it in place this afternoon.

I'm going to raise the engine up a bit as well as take a few leaves out of the front spring to get it to sit right. But I like where it's going.

Enjoy the pics.

New Pics of the last 2 weeks progress.

Notched the frame and tacked up the front cross member into final position,
fabbed up & tacked the radiator mounts in place and got one of the old spring perches cut off of the rearend. Also mounted the radiator into place.

Check out the picture of the oil pan clearance. I think I'll raise the engine a few inches...ya think?!

More to come...
