Well here are some new pics. I bobbed 7" off the cowl and built a firewall and am working on the floor pan. The bomber style bench seat will be done next week. In the morning I will build the bed 40"L x 36" W. I will complete the headers by sat.:D:D

Keep the pictures and updates coming... '22

I like the way you unitized the body, floor and seat riser. Should be very strong. Where did you get the front axle?

Fast!

Rust,
You sure are a fast worker! Wish I could get things done like that! Car looks really nice! Thanks for posting!

The front axle is from Speedway it is a 4" drop spring behind. The front axle and tires are the only parts on the car that I have paid cash for.
Thanks guys for the encouragement, coments and assistance. This is a great forum.

Here are the bed sides I formed up today. I made em 48" they are longer than I will need for now but I'm not sure of placement yet. I thought I would build some skirts to go down from the bottom to the bottom of the body back and just cut out for axle travel, or keep it narrow so the 4 link can be seen. I kinda like the wider and longer look, but the sides really need to be deeper. What do you think?:confused::confused:

maybe something like this , forgive my attempt at louvers :) make them out of cardboard , you can tape them on stand back and look at it till you get them the way you want , then you`ll have a template to transfer to your metal......`24
