Custom paint....

Here's a bike that belongs to a friend of mine. He got tired of the factory paint and dropped it off at my shop last month. Yes, the bike is filthy dirty, but I didn't make enough money on the job to go to the trouble of washing it.........gotta love workin' for buddies

He totalled it a month after getting it back. He felt pretty bad, they said the $2500 paint job pushed it over the edge.

I charged him $200 labor and $115.10 for materials, ( I used mostly leftovers from my stash) for a grand total of $315.10, but nobody would believe him, nor would they put it back together using factory primered parts..

I think he's gotten over it , he's riding an electraglide classic now.
