This may have been asked before but dose anyone have any bad experiences with either Gennie shifters apposed to Lokar shifters?
I bought a Lokar but it has the push button safety on the mushroom and I cant interchange shifter nobs. I kinda new it had the non-interchangeable nob but wanted to see it and now think it is way borring for my truck. Funny to say but I think it belongs in a $50K truck instead
So, Is anyone REAL unhappy with the Gennie shifter enogh to tell me not to buy one?

Yes, you can they have an adaptor for Lokars so you can change knobs. I found that out after I bought a Gennie for my truck. I have a Lokar in my Stude. Haven't used the Lokar yet but no problems with the Gennie so far.

So it appears that after I would buy the adapter kit, pushing down on the aftermarket nob I put on will engage the push button safety mechanism from the original nob set up?
I missed this somehow in their website.
