57 floor

Here are some of my first channel job. I did a 3in channel of the the floor. Boy did I open up a can of worms ! LOL

Had to make to front floor pans along with a trans tunnel.

I keep as much of the factory floor as I could. As you can see even with my wheel wells tubbed a bit, it still looks factory.

Motor

I wasnt really sure what motor I was going to run a 5.0 OR 4.6, I decided to use a 2001 4.6 with 5 speed out of GT mustang. Very tight fit, But I like it.:)

Body on

I got the body on, everything lined up, had a little trouble geeting it over the 20s in the back. But I got the look I was after. Really low.

I plan to start working on it again now that the truck is almost done. I plan to put a tri link in back, rack and pinion, bags, and more, hope to be driving in 09 LOL

Those mid fifties Ford look good when done rigth. And yours looks right to me. I like it. You've got a lot of talent good work.

What ever happened to this build? One of my favorite cars. I had a Ranch Wagon when I was in the AF in the late '60s.
