Cabin fever has hit hard this year. Cure, clean out part of garage and build something.Started about 2 weeks ago. I've been wanting to build a small bike for swap meets, pit bike use
and to just have fun on. Had a old mini bike frame and back axle and a swap meet tank and frount wheel. Will refab frame. Thats the plan for now. Will have more pics soon.

mini trike

That should be a cool project, I always wanted to build one too.
I would leave the frame stock offset the axle and add an old cooler or wooden chest set up like a side car to haul parts,...beverages in.

Refabed fork cut handlebars off and shortened 4inchs. Changed fork length of forks and welded all up. Bought engine and cut frame apart to alter. Then did a mock up to see where to go next.

Oh man, you cut up a JC Penney Duster MX Chopper. My Friends at oldminibikes.com have to see this. Hope it comes out nice, I think I will keep mine the way it is. But I will Fix the forks, Mini's are addicting I now have 4 of them.

gussets

I bet you make some mean looking gussets on your rods, by looking at the craftsmanship you are puting on your mini trike project.

Lookin' cool

All done. Finished up tonight. Had a lot of fun on this little build. Waiting on paint to dry about drove me crazy. I just wanted to keep going. But it all came together. My buddy Stevo wanted to lay down some lines on it so I let him. I think it really helped it.

That turned out just beutifull, Please post a few more picks of the rear axle setup. I think I am on the hook to build one now. I know it would never turn out that good though. I have a Golf Cart that I may have to use the rearend out of, or maybe out of my old riding lawn tractor.

59Imp yes that is a new engine. A Tecumeh 6 hp power sport made for karts and minibikes. It was I think very reasonable at $200.00 delivery inclued.
From WWW.smallenginewarehouse.com. Dobber I'll get some chain drive pics posted for ya in a day or so.Thanks for the positive comments.

Had to take box of for wheelie bar instalation. The front wheel won't stay on the ground. So heres the pic you ask for Dobber. Its an old Whites-Bolen garden tractor axle with differential. Mechanical caliper brake and Comet
torque converter.
