I've got a rear from a 41 ford that i would like to use in my project but can't seem to find any information about rebuilding them or at least what to check out before using it. It's been sitting for the better parts of 30 years so i figure it will need some sprucing up to be reliable.
and are the later model ford rear(like mine) wider than the model A rears?
whats the best open drive conversion to use or is there a manual tranny( prefer 4 speed) that will bolt up to my 350SBC and still let me use the torque tube drive shaft?
