Late 1950's they built the whale kustom car
in 1966 they turned into a drag car
at the sanford airport drag strip sanford maine
early 1970's tim moved to chelsea, mass.
Put the whale into a small garage for 30 years
he passed away later his wife sold all his hot rods
and parts. New owner trying to sell the whale at new england dragway in n.h. For big money

There are a lot of things I like about that car. It's probably a '56, it's a hardtop, it's chopped, it has a standard transmission, and it has 'I think' an FE. All good stuff. I don't care for the 'front rake' stance, and I never got to liking Packard taillights in other cars.
I bought a '56 Ford when I was 15, and when I was 17 I pulled the guts out of it and put them in a '59 Ford one weekend. These were my high-school cars. I still have both cars.

I too am a fan of the 55-56 Fords, dad had a 55 2 door hardtop with the Y block and dual exhaust. I also like the 54, and the 57 club coupe, The 57 Fairlane was also a whale...imho
