SBF Heater tie ins

I have built a sbf with an electric coolant pump. Problem is it has no connections for a heater. Could I run a tee off the outlet of the pump to the heater then back in through the intake coolant...

Back home and putting all back together. Gotta fab cab mounts for the frame.
Test fit the cab. And then start putting all the rest on....
