Here we go again.
The plan is to do a modern frame and drive train with 4 wheel drive.
Most likely MOPAR... Cause I like Mopar.

That is one cool crew cab. Probably 50K cheaper than the new one pictured. I like the jaunty cut out in the rear door to clear the fender. Great find, pops

Great starting material. But, something tells me this is going to look even better when you're done with it.

Somebody stuck an old nasty Chiverlay motor in your Jeep Pops!
It needs a new Hemi in it!
Going with a Dakota frame again?

It's got a lot of potential but my self centered wife has already told me I was on my own on the money end so it won't be near as fast. She gets what she wants for Christmas then drops me like a hot potato!!

Just kidding.
No pressure working for yourself.

That 283 Chevy is one of the first things that has to go.
It won't be a Hemi but it will be Mopar.
I would like to find a Dakota with a 318 and a 46rh overdrive transmission and 4 wheel drive. They are kinda scarce around here but not impossible to find.
And I don't have a problem with making another road trip to get one.

I'm in no hurry. Plenty of body and paint work to keep me occupied.

Never seen one of this body style before, any idea of the production number of these? Amazing how close it is to the new version, or rather how much they poached from this design....[P[P[cl[cl
