Years ago I painted a car and it turned out great.I went home ,took a break. When I went back to the shop to un tape the car ,I had quite a surprise ..The air line had broke and it was whipping around slapping my new paint job+blowing dust on it..The tech tip is have a air cut off for the paint booth air

That is a real bummer.....

haven't heard anyone ever relate a story like that.....kind of a live and learn thing....never thought about it....wow...bummer...

You know I've done it a lot....

You should never leave an air line or hose under pressure when not in use!

But lately I've been draining the compressor tank at the end of the day and purging all the drop downs...but definately a good idea to not leave them charged....Good advise...

There's something remotely pornographic about this description of events

I think Murphy must have painted cars for a living, because nothing begs for an accident like fresh paint!!!

I've never had that happen, but have had more than my fair share of unbelievably bad luck things happen as soon as the paint is done.

This one is really unusual though....sorry for your luck.

Maybe I shouldnta said that... ooooooooooooooooooooooops

tact my boy...tact

Hey Sarge... I had that awkward moment when someone doesn't get a joke and then when they do they don't think it's funny...

I was making deliveries and had a stack of totes of meds to deliver to a pharmacy.
I asked the pharmacist "where would you like these placed miss?"
She pointed to an isle cap that was a display for crutches.
I said "aw... that's lame"

At first she was like "what did you say"
I Iauged and said crutches...lame...
She wasn't offended but just looked at me like really?

I came up with a new funny couple weeks ago...
"boredom... that feeling you get when you've used up all the fun and all that's left is that stuff you were supposed to do"

Yep.....I picked up on that....

I hate it when people don't get it and you get that look like "WHAT?"....takes the fun out of it if you have to explain it.....have you noticed that people don't seem to have a very good sense of humor anymore.....(Other than Maverick) lol...

You know I just like rattlin your chain...right?? :D

Sarge you remember when I was saying i had muscular skeletal problems a while back?
not arthritis but I was having gout from not drinking enough water. years of going hours without a **** and not drinking anything so i don't have to pull over every hour built up uric acid crystals in my was one problem.
A while ago the doc put me on allopurinol for a few months.
Its been a while since I was on them but that and drinking water before I go to bed and letting my kidneys work more when I'm layign down has gotten my blood uric acid levels normal.

I still had these bad pains like shin splints all over my body. Muscles hurt and were stiff like I had lockjaw or something
II could feel pains where my muscles attatched to the bones too

I had that skin rash problem as well

I went through a load of bloodwork recently and I have no infections bloodwork was clear, no cancer thyroid normal...
But I was way low on vitamin D and I drink milk
Looked it up on the net and being fat soaks up all your D
Also I don't work outside so much anymore
So I have been on 1000iu D3 for about 6 weeks now. that with the exercise I'm getting on this new job... I'm starting to feel really good like I havn't in a long time.
I'm flexible again and i'm not all crippled up with pain like a clenched up 80 year old wrestler anymore. still hurt but no where near as bad.

And the skin problem...psoriasis. that's all
I never thought I would have thought of osteo porosis as much as I eat and I've never had a broken bone, not even laying that semi over at 70 mph.
Not really that but low D weakens the bones and they get damage where the muscles hook in

So things are looking pretty good right now, the word is optomist

Vitamin D defincency is common....

I've known a ton of people that have been put on specific vitamins for the reasons you mentioned....I'm glad it's working for you.....
I've always been into vitimin supplements and D, B complex and Multi vitamins are in my routine.....but you have to be selective in your choice of vitamins....time released are better.....welll I've highjacked this thread about enough...lol....
