Growing up I always had friends that did bodywork and paint. I used to spend time hanging out at their garages and shops and learned a lot from them.
When all the new paints, techniques, and spray equipment came out in the 90’s, I took night classes at a local community college to get up to speed on the new products and their applications.

I'm not the best at it, but know enough to get into trouble, and for the price some guys get for complete paint jobs these days, it's nice to be able to do your own stuff.
