Started out with a rough '46 that had been sitting for 40 yrs. After stripping it all down I went into fab mode. I used a '74 ford courier frame, it was narrow and gave me a mustang like suspension and had 6 lugs.I Z,d and modified the rear and put a '69 truck axle under it. Its bagged on all 4 corners and will lay frame.

Ok here is where the top gets lowered. Well I knew I wanted a 6" chop because of all the pics I had saw I liked. So out came the tape.I new the back was gonna be the critical part so I laid it out real pretty and was gonna just let the front posts run and cut to fit. Well a full 6" out of the back makes for a damn little windshield in front.LOL so I put 3/4" back in and left the front a true 6" out of the window post.(So when you ask "why the little strip.LOL)
