I have been looking for a better way to move some cars around. Also, I have been building a Tiny House in all my spare time that will need a hauler. The goal here is to use a 59 Jeep cab and a heavy duty chassis. I found a 93 P30 step van on the 3500 HD chassis with a 6.2 diesel for a good price. It had been parked for 17 years, but ran. I am going to cut down the van to the point that the box becomes a pickup bed. The bed is 8 ft wide/12 feet long and large enough to carry most any car that I own as well as fully capable of towing the house.

The jeep was part of a fire dept at some point in time.

Here are a few photos of the van

Rotten tires. I was shocked at the high price of 19.5 tires and even more at the price of mounting and balancing. Most local shops wanted $600 for mount and balance!!

This is the custom built trailer for the Tiny House. It drops to the ground when parked and hides the wheels.

This is the Tiny House so far. Missing the side panels here.
