Here's a picture I came across in a magazine. The tractors are cool enough, but pulling five of six binders is beyond ordinary. This was near Rosetown, Saskatchewan.
Dad told a story that he had two binders hooked up behind a 'D' John Deere. Both of his brothers were helping him. Dad was on the back binder, one brother was on the front binder and their little brother was running the 'D'. Sometimes, the young fella had his girlfriend on the tractor with him, well, quite often I guess. It seems, that with the John Deere popping away, the binders rattling, and the youngest brothers attention, ahem, diverted, if Dad got in trouble, way back on the trailing binder, he couldn't get his brother to stop the tractor. Tension was built.
I cannot find that picture now.
I went and took another picture of the magazine picture.

I've been volunteering at a local museum this week end. We had two tractor parades each day and I was the parade marshal. Some of my pictures were not good but here are a couple. The parade starts with a steam engine and then as many old gas tractors as I can get started. All those little Farmalls were finished the parade and I was starting out in the last tractor, a Minneapolis Moline U diesel with a homemade cab. The pair of thirties Cases are driven by a pair of late teenage twin girls.

I bought a 90 model Massey Fergeson 240 a while back, I haven't even made any pics of it yet. It's a diesel, has a 6' bucket loader on front. Traded my old IH to a guy for a 5.5 Bush Hog brand cutter and a 2 bottom Ford breaking plow. The Bush Hog is made out of some real steel, thick! It's so heavy the little 8N won't even pick it up! I'll have to get some pics soon....

Here ya go Mac, 240 Massey with 2400 Bush Hog loader, 8N, my Ford two bottom breaking plow, and the former county highway dept 5 1/2' Bush Hog cutter.
