This is the original style:

From there, you can kinda use your imagination to make something that will work.

Default Might have a solution ...

I've been rippin' and tearin' at this thing this morning, and took the front bumper supports off because they were in knee-bashing range. THOSE might just work for motor mounts. Have a lot of other scrap too. Also found that the trans mount bolts onto the 'Burban frame, so since that is missing on the Pontiac, might just transfer over! I'm pretty excited !!!

And dontchya know the last exhaust bolt is nearly impossible to get the impact on, or even a wrench and hammer! I'm thinkin' side grinder. Yeah, that's the ticket!

You might be able to bring it out with some of the exhaust on it.

Or some of it cut off. I think that is what's going to happen. The driver side is lose, passenger side is getting CUT !!! A lot easier to get to than the darn bolt.

Cutting the pipe was more fun! It's disconnected. Headed for under the (used-to-be-a) hood and start disconnecting there. Woohoo! I love this stuff !!!

Rescured a '88 Corvette from a junkyard. It had hit a pole so the front bumper was shoved in and the hood was shattered. $1800. 118,000 miles , started and ran good till i got it home and the resident gremlins got to it. The real problem is the rust. There isn't any. Me with a plastic rat. If i was dead i would be turning over in my grave.

Fits in with your tag line pretty well.

Looking forward to the build thread.

The thing about a '39 Ford pick-up is that that ugly grille kinda' grows on ya' after a while.

Not taking anything too seriously.
