Thanks ya bought 5 pairs of saftey glasses that stupid mistake cost me 200.00 dollar copay for the e.r. visit and the infection and swelling is finally gone. Eye is still sensitive to light especially when im tired. Hope to get some work done on it this week i am really geared up to get back to work on it.

The body found a good home, nice job on the chop. next time if "you know" that splinter is not close to the pupil use a strong magnet I have done it, just had a piece of grinding stone removed Tuesday wear your PPE ... The mini van roof looks nice when done right.

Good job on all of it !!! [cl you will be happy when it's done..

Looks great. Nice to see you using the Model T frame. I know alot of people don't think that they are strong enough but once you box it and put in the k-member you will be fine.
There are a few vendors out there that sell precut sets to box the frame. They look resonably priced too.
I am in the process of getting ready to chop my project as well and like you I am a tall guy(6'2-1/2") so I am doing alot of measuring and mocking up before I make the cut.
keep at it. The snow should only last another month or so.:D
Torchie.

Your tall like me i wanted to chop and channel mine but after careful measuring i found i could only take out 8 1/2 inches. I marked out 5 1/2 inches on the top figuring i could channel it 3. After i marked it out it 5 1/2 just didnt look like it was enough. So i took 8 1/2 out of the top and im happy with it.

Got some 36 spindles the guy cut the axle off about 3 inches from the spindles instead of knocking out the king pins. So i pressed out the king pins also pressed on some bearing adapters so i can run chevy disc brakes and got some caliper brackets. Waiting for new king pins hope to have the front end done by next weekend.

Dig the ride, like the look. Couldn't help but notice it is a backyard build, I'm going to quit complaining about only having a one car garage.

X's-2
One day in a perfect world I will be building one of these. I want to do an angle chop ala early 60's show car. And of course a lime green metalic paint job with a white fire wall and white tuck and roll interior......
Looking good. Keep at it.

Nice looking build. I always loved the look of these chopped as well. Good choice on the slots, one of my favorite wheels too. Keep up the great work and I'll be following along!
