Ah yes. The good old Ford plastic timing gears. I totally stripped one in my Cougar showing off. Funny thing was that it kept running until I shut it down a mile or so later. Replaced it with an all metal one.

No bueno!?!?!?!

Wow! Talk about a trip down memory lane. :D  I still have my '66 F250 in storage. Bought it in '72. I have so many memories of hangin' out under that thing. Two engine transplants, three or four transmissions, rebuilding the Twin-I-Beam. Anyway, thanks for the ride. Don't forget to save that 9-inch for a future project. They are getting scarce.

It took you that much work to take apart that 55 year old truck because, wait for it,

They are built FORD tough.

I'm not sure it was they were built ford tough or Ford was afraid they were going to fall apart.[ddd

Well, whats it doing? Sitting in storage, you you can't enjoy it there.

The 9 inch is going back in the truck. It will Get rebuilt along with a limited slip put in it.

Big power

Out with the cracked 360, and in with a 428!!!!

Should be fun!
