OFFICIAL SUBMISSION THREAD - ROUND 2
Ravaged by Time (Rust/Patina/Pitted chrome/etc.)
Judge: smallfoot

attachment.php

Round 2 will be closed at 3:00AM on July 24th

Quick and Dirty Rules: (should cover most of it unless you're editing)
----------------------------
***All entries must be a photo taken by you*** no matter how long ago.
Please, no bigger than 1024x1024 pixels. At least 500 pixels one direction.
There is very limited photo editing allowed. (see RULES thread)
Post up to 3 pics. One will be considered.
Amateurs only.
There is a Theme restriction. (see below)
No profanity, pets, or people. (Spectators in the background, etc. are OK)

***PHOTOBUCKET*** It's broke. Don't use it. I'd suggest uploading to Undead Sleds instead.

***If anyone needs HELP posting, resizing, editing a pic, or help how to use camera functions - ask right here in this thread.***

Full RULES can be found here: RULES
If you don't read them, don't be upset if your pic is disqualified.

THEME: Ravaged by Time (Rust/Patina/Pitted chrome/etc.)
------------
IT'S BACK! This one was a favorite last time, so I'm not surprised it was first pick. So show Smallfoot what Mother Nature and Father Time have done! Oxidation, separating glass, pitted chrome, flaking paint, an abandoned long roof sinking into the ground. Maybe even the hammer marks on a anvil, a tree growing through a hood, a long forgotten tool bench with a layer of dust, or the layers of corrosion in the neck of a radiator?

This is Undead Sleds, but we're not just about zombie rods, so if it's got wheels, had wheels, is related to wheels, or is around your shop, it might be worth a picture!

PLEASE DO NOT REPOST OTHERS PICTURES IN THE SUBMISSION THREADS
(it makes it hard for judges to know who the picture belongs to)

If there are questions about anything we can discuss it here. And if I forgot something, let me know!

I don't know how to show it full size.

The trick to full sizing a pic on UDS in five simple steps:

1. Submitted your post with attached pic as usual.
2. Click on thumbnail to enlarge.
3. Right click enlarged pic and choose "copy image address".
4. Edit post and use "Insert image" as you normally would.
5. Be impressed with your new internet skillz.

Hope this works for ya!

Any guess's on the 2nd item

looks like an old acetylene generator...?
I think you are correct, dutch. I haven't seen one in since the 60s, but they do look like that, as I recall. Old guy that used to help us with our cars back then had an operational one in use in the back yard.
