By the same logic, you can get a good sbf for just as cheap as a sbc. I got my 260 for less than nothing. Bought a nice little 63 Fairlane sport coupe with hail damage, sold off the stuff I could ebay, then the body and title for 3 times what I paid for the car. Even after new timing chain, seals, starter, water pump,fuel pump and gaskets I was $200 to the good and had a nice engine.
 
I got the 2.3 EFI Turbo engine that AZRodDave turned me on to. Thanks Dave.
170 HP. A lot more power than this old man needed in an 80 year old otherwise
original car.:rolleyes:
Going to need a ECM and harness now. Thanks to everyone for their suggestions.
