I got some cool gauges, what do you guys think?

This one is a stewart warner vacum gauge. I hooked it up to the carb temporarily to see if it worked and it did, just a little sticky. Any easy way to cure a sticky needle? (no comments needed wizeguy  )

I believe this one is out of an air plane as it was paired with an altitude gauge when i found it. It has fuel and oil pressure and a temp gauge. I'm not sure if the temp is for oil or motor temp but either way i don't think it will be much use. I still might hook it up for oil pressure and fuel as it will look pretty cool.

how can i not? i know whats on his mind, and it aint cars :D

i'm not sure if i'm going to use the gauges for my truck or if i'm just going to save them, i havn't decided yet.

that might make more sense, where should those temp ranges be? this one only goes to 120 degrees so i know it wont work for coolant temp or oil temp.

wait a second, i just realized it's in celcius, whats that in fahrenheit?

it goes up to 248 fahrenheit, hmmmmm.....where does oil usually need to be? The probe on this thing is monstrous so i'm not sure if there is any easy way to convert to a coolant temp sensor. could i just stick it in my exhaust to get egt readings (not literally but you know what i mean)?

I think you would have to mount the sensor pretty far back in the exhaust system , if you mounted it near the exhaust manifolds i think it would be really hot there like 4-5 hundred degrees
