My rusty/ratty 1948 Chevrolet truck

This truck is still bringing you enjoyment as well as the folks who see it apparently. Job well done. The wheel choice was genius.

I agree with everything earthman says. Well, not always. But in this case, YES!

There is something about those wheels on that truck that just makes it. I love the choice. It took guts to put them on it and they are great.

I got the truck ready for the year. I cleaned the windows and polished the wheels.

I love the wheels on your truck, What did they come on or who makes them and what size are they?

They are centerline smoothies. 20x8.5" all the way around.

If I was buying wheels today, I would go 18's on the front with more tire.

The wheels look great but you're wasting your time on the windows......they're just gonna get dirty again.

I like them too, just enough shine that says that whats underneath ain't what came from the factory!

I guess I need to swap my truck pics from photobucket to flickr like I did with the Roofus pics.

I think my photobucket month resets on around the 25th. Try again then.

Looks like you're having too much fun Flipper! Careful, they'll make it illegal...

Best pass was an 8.26 in the 1/8 mile. The conversion tables say that that would be a high 12 second pass. ...and this is with the smaller cam (2nd smallest Lunatti VooDoo) and carb (600 cfm). I wish I would have ran it on a track when I had ran the bigger cam and a 750 carb.

It kinda makes me want to build another motor and take the 20's off of it...just to see what to would do.
