here's a few pics of the progress over the last coupla weeks.
fenderwells and floor is coming together nice!
transmission tunnel is on the get it done list today.
my freind's teaching his 9 yr old girl to weld, the floor of my car is the learning area when all the welding is done its clean up and paint the floor time.

My dad and I have 8 1933 plymouth's and dodges and got to say that is not a dodge, more like a Desoto or a Chrysler. This is what a dodge dash looks like! But any who! great start to a killer rat rod,

ya, l been told it is a 32 plymouth or desoto. the man l got it from told me it's a 33 dodge and ater l stated this thread lots of people pm'ed me and corrected what l was told. just leaving the thread starter title as is so people can follow the build.

Great project. The only thing I taught my kids to do was cut the grass. I had a well trimmed lawn but, I coulda had a Hot Rod if I had taught 'em to weld. Too late now. Very good use of "Child Labor", and what a skill to have at 9 years old.

thanks for the encourangment, helps keep me motovated

the plans are finishing the trans tunnel in the next few days. remove the body from the chassis and then start running hard lines and wiring.

still behind on the time schudule to get it done for june.
hoefully the frame is powdercoated in the next 2 weeks.
gonna bust my hump to try and get it running for summer. paint will have to wait till winter.
so l will be driving it around in red primer this year

got the tunnel finished today!!! that helps a lot to get back on the time table
to drive the car this summer.


the exhaust will exit right in front of the rear tires. with the new fenderwells l have 2'' clearance between the frame and tires in the rear.
