The life of my 1951 chevy 3100.

Well this was my truck the day it came home in may of 2003.

So I then started the first stage of just cleaning it up and making it run. It was complete so repaired what was needed and drove it.

I at this time modified the door latches with S10 latches.



So then this is what I had. 1 all original drive train driveable truck.

Well then in January 2011 I decide it was time for another change because it was no fun to drive that way. So stage 2 was a s10 frame v8 700r4 trans 4 wheel disc brakes power steering. A lot more fun!





Modified Core support.

This allowed the radiator to be at a angle to miss the steering box.

So much more fun and dependable to drive.

Thanks guys, and for the tail pipes. I had a set of flowmaster that where for my wifes vet, but her car will still be off the road for awhile. So seeing how I bought them I thought why not, and they have 2 tips on each muffler, so that why. They sound really good. They are at the very back with about 8 inch tails. Also I am not really sure on the chop but I am looking to putting a visor on it, it had one when I looked at the truck but the other guy kept it.

I do agree, and it is okay to say it. I have a 1951 4dr Delux that I hope to start this winter. This car will have a chop, so I will post it as I do the build. I am starting work on another ad truck now. 1955 for a buddy of mine. His will also look stock but will be on a s10 frame with goodies. I will post it as I go also.
