It's parked beside my garage about 150' from my house, I don't plan to move it anytime soon but I figure we will probably have to live in it one day when everything really goes to crap.

It's my place with all my cool stuff in it and I keep it just like I want it (I'm somewhat OCD, I suffer from a mild form of Asperger syndrome) so this is my solitude place. We actually spend the night out here a lot, when I'm out there it's like I'm back in the 50s in a much simpler time....I absolutely love it.

I spent about a year and a half living in one of those (A '58 I think) with my parents and 2 siblings while my dad built our new house in 73-74. Can't say I'd want to do that again, but it would make a cool retreat like you have. Ours was orange and aluminum. Orange inside throughout.

who say's you suffer. from Aspergers. you may be afflicted, make the rest of the world suffer. None of us are so called normal. Work with what you have, It makes you who you are.

I'd love to have one but all of them I find are just too far gone. In the early 50s, a top end Spartan cost more than a house.

Was this considered a travel trailer, or a mobile home? It looks well big enough to live in full time. Bet it's heavy. You did a good job on the resto on it, looks comfy.
