I love it, looks great! how long have you been building it? I wish i could come up with a 32 cab like that. real nice.

I've been building this one within the past year but have been planning it fore about 2 yrs.....The 32 found me...I had a different rat rod parked in front of my shop one day and an older gentleman stopped in and was wondering if I was interested in some more older vehicles....I said possibly...What you got....He listed off a few things and then said He had a 32 ford truck.......I tried not to get to excited and said that I would come out and take a look.....but he did know what he had and wasn't about to give it away....we made a deal and the rest is history....I did end up selling enough parts off of it including the chassis to more than make up what I paid for it...you just never know what people have hidden in the bush...and when they say...I,ve got one just like that!!!!!...They might have.

Arizona bound!!!

Well I'm off to Mesa Arizona For the next 10 days on a motorcycle trip:):)....some friends of ours already hauled the harleys down there so we just have to jump on a plane and ride when we get there.....I could use the break and am getting sick of this Canaidian winter:...but I would also like to finish this rod....I have to have it done for the Draggins Car Show up here on Easter weekend so I'm going to have to hussle once I get back:eek:...but it's coming along nicely...I got the rad and shell mounted along with the tranny lines, rad hoses and got most of the plumbing done for the carbs...I also finished off the e-brake cables and mounted the e.brake...so we have stop just not go...yet....the rest will have to wait till I return...until then...SHINEY SIDE DOWN.:)

No More Slackin!!!

Well got back from the bike trip in Arizona....weather was decent, biking was great, put about 2000 miles on when we were down there, good time was had by all.:):).....Now back to work....busy week down at the shop so my time was limited this week but I got a few things done...ran fuel lines, mounted the alt,put in the overflow tank for the rad...it's an old oil can from the railroad, got some vintage meccano parts and pulleys and some bicycle parts and made a throttle cable set up...it works well and looks pretty cool....opened up my wiring harness that I got from a swap meet last year....it shouldn't be to bad...just time consuming...I think I'll tackle it next and get it over with.:(..got to make some progress to get it ready for the car show...I'll keep you all informed wheather I have any hair left after the wiring is done:)

Looks really good man.
I'm not usually much of a fan of the front axle a ways out there, but yours looks really well proportioned side on.

:)

Well after Easter weekend the computer crashes and Had to get it repaired:mad:something about hard drive defragmentation happened and locked everything up[S....but it is repaired now and up and running so I can post some pics of the carshow...The 32 drew a crowd all weekend with rave reviews and ended up winning First place in the Rat Rod class:)...I had a local pinstriper lay down a few lines at the show....he did my last ratrod as well and does a nice job....The chopped Merc beside the 32 is one I did for a buddy of mine and it pretty well stole the show and took home most of the gold including Best Custom, Best Interior, Best Paint, Best Body Work and People's Choice....He was pumped!!!...I'll post a few pics of it right after I got it out of the paint booth so you can see the real fire flames in Candy red Over silver and gold on a Black base....real ghost unless the sun is shining on it then it really pops!!!...over all a great weekend...I had the rat rod out for a couple of short kruises and have a few bugs to work out and still a little more finishing left to do....then hopefully put some real miles on it....Thanks for all the views and great comments to those who followed my build...I really enjoyed this build and posting my progress...It gave me the insentive to keep motivated on it as well as following everyone elses builds ....Shiney Side Down...Keep up the Great Work...I'LL BE WATCHING![P[P:)
