I just go there and lurk from time to time while waiting for this site to refresh.

I think they are having a problem with spammers right now. Austin sent out an email that stated he is trying to get a handle on it.

Someone is targeting KB and spamming the heck out of them. I really feel for Austin in that happening. First the pop up thing, now the porno spammer. I also noticed when I would post on there my spyware would get loaded with spybots. I clean my machine every night, and there were sometimes 35 spybots that I would pickup on there.

The internet is a very strange place.

Don where do you find these spybots on your machine?

Controlling porn is easy. First, shut off the HTML code, this way no one hacks their way in. Second, use the recognition box on the registration form, (the one that asks you to type in the weird looking letters). This stops spammers. Third, have new members fill out the profile and newbie sign in. This is where the big red flags, bells, and whistles go off indicating a poser or porner. A little daily housekeeping on the part of the Adm and Mods is all it takes.

I'm running two, both free programs. one is Ad-aware, and the other is spybot search and destroy. I've used them for a couple of years, and knock on wood, no problems so far.

adaware is great, i'm glad someone mentioned this, i need to sweep my pc as i've been checking in over there every now and then.

He was talking about the old rev grimm, may he rest in peace! grimm was the 1st to b squashed & vaporized here... a real stink. I was several miles away when RR Mod let loose with the Xtra Heavy Duty Punk Squasher & Vaporizer & it was SO bad I had to leave town for a few daze. Goo got all over the place, well... nevermind!
