I always pick up a hand full at swap meets like Pate and Decatur usually pretty cheap that way. I've recently bought a Eastwood metal saw, cuts pretty good so don't use the abrasive disks as much now.

Can never have enough. I got lucky a couple years ago. Norton Saint Gobain In Worster Mass had a yard sale and I bought A half a pallet of them and piles of other stuff. It was a steal. The cut off wheels worked out to 7/8 of a cent each.

Be VERY aware of "cheap" cutoff wheels. They have a habit of exploding and burying deeply into whatever soft tissue is nearby, including your arms and face.
![]() Look into buying one of these. Fastenal is carrying them. They are kinda loud, and leave a slightly wider kerf than standard abrasive wheel, but they more than make up for it in longevity! Plenty of $$ saved here already... https://www.lenoxtools.com/pages/lenox-metalmax.aspx
