![]() I widened them 1 3/4 plus they were toast from a previous build they were mostly fiberglass and some dumpster metal to begin with These were made with very high tech tools I used the tuck shrink method followed by planishing on an acetylene bottle cap welded to my work bench, then used a crescent wrench to fold over. the QTR corner was over 1 inch thick of bondo and glass to begin with
I made patterns then began to fold over(using my knee) used a HF shrinker/stretcher to work the bottom fold laid out the body lines and formed then with a hammer/dolly and block of wood sorry, I didnt take a finished photo after metal finishing |
