It's been rattling around in my head for 15 years and I've had the stuff to do it a couple times, just not the "right" vehicle.
Airfoil shaped wing strut to make a floating grill. I've picked it up free from shops that work on light aircraft, have a big chunk of it I'm stumbling over for 10 years. The first car I was going to do it on was a 62 Sunliner but traded the car off before I ever got around to it.

Like the flying wing?

Floating grills look like they are floating in the opening. I think what WB is talking about is a floating grill bar in the center of the grill opening itself. They look good on cars that have a grill that is recessed a bit from the front sheetmetal. I have seen some shoebox Fords that had a wing shaped floating bar in the grill, great old custom touch.

I'm not an airchine guy and I didn't need it splained to me, I needed pictures!! Geez, didn't you read my first post? :D

I guess I did get it - I was trying to make it more complicated than that.
