This is a new build I'm doing for Peabody.
Tim had another person who became ill then decided not to go any further with it.
The frame was built by this person and they done a great job so I don't have to start from dirt to complete the build.
We're installing a 350 SBC with a 4 speed T10 tranny.
The rear end is a nine in Ford, already installed with a parallel for link and coil-overs.
After we get all the motor mounts, brake tabs, shock mounts and all the things welded to the frame, we will pull the cab and bed, bead blast the frame and paint it bullfrog green.

Here's Tim's little pickup
Needless to say, I'm very envious :D

Old Iron. .
I'm incredibly honored, that for you to say your envious.
After seeing your rides, and your incredible talent in person.
It's your truck.
Do as you wish..
I think it's a match made in heaven :)
I've been messing around with this truck for several years.
I know now.. it's in good hands.
That bullfrog green does stand out ,doesn't it ?
And to the readers of this thread, the story goes like this..
Tim : what do you think jim ?
Jim : that's exactly my next truck..
Tim: what your plans ?
Jim : i have several ideals. . But im not going to tell you.
Tim: your serious? Your not going to tell me ?
Jim : yep :) not gonna, I'll suprize you..
Soooo ? Dear readers, this thread. .I'll be following along, just like you.
[P
And just for the record, I'm a long haul tanker yanker.
Not home too much.
Like I've said..
Finding this site...and Old Iron.
Match made in Heaven :p
I'm absolutely thrilled to finally get this project going.
And best part is . Jim don't live very far from me.
Jim did tell me.. everything he does wrong with my pickup.
He won't with his... hahaha!
But with old at the helm of this project,
I've no worries at all .
He's a good down to earth, honest man.

Old Iron is one heck of a builder! If ya think you're impressed now, wait till ya see what he does with it...top notch work as can be seen in his build threads...[cl

Welll...????
The fact it won't be chopped. .
Old iron probably figures, that he won't chop it...is because I'm built like a gorilla. ..
Short stumpy leggs and long torso. .
My knuckles, dont quite drag the ground......
Ha!!!
Other than that.. I'm quite handsom...

Peabody, the truck is already sweet....can't wait to see how
it turns out. I think maybe we should start calling Old Iron
Allstate.......wait for it..........
you know you're in good hands.....or even State Farm
like a good neighbor....... :D:D

maybe I'll get a kick back for the plugs[S

Update. ..
A part or two came in for my 37..
Old Iron showed me the new steering column.
Neet-0 !!!
I asked him... if i could come down and help..
He said ... sure !!!
But the shop rates go up 150 bucks an hour. .
[cl[ddd:p[P:D

Shazam !!
Now those parts look great!
[P
Folks.. I'm constantly amazed, just sitting around visiting
With old iron .. it's like he's telepathic or sumtin..[S
I know what i like.. and since I'm new to alot of this stuff.
It's sometimes hard to put into words, or trying to explain a mental picture?
He just simply zooms straight into the thought process.
Then draws me a mental picture and explains what he does and why.
His ability to make something clear in my mind .. really helps me understand.
Ya'll don't know how much i value that.
Thanks Jim.
Now....
We wait...[P
This is very exciting stuff for me [cl

Hey hey look what I got :D
They are from a 55 International
