I wasn't expecting to see this one chopped [cl:cool:

I call it the 'stealth chop' - just enough to make people wonder what's different about it.

Doesn't look like enough. Cut it more [ddd

Just kidding, that looks awesome! You make quick work of that stuff!

Will I see you and the Hennway at Radium next week?

No, I had planned to go to the Nelson show the week after but the wife just isn't up to travelling that far - maybe next year - have fun!!

I like it!
"The first cut is the deepest'"
We need a full on profile shot like the before one to get the true idea of how it looks ZZ.
It takes a lot less of a chop then most people think to change the way it looks.
I need to get back to mine.[;)[;) [;)

Thanks!
Yeah, before and after pics are the best!
Right now it's hard to find time to get back on the job, too many other things to do - Seems like I had more spare time before I retired [S

That's what makes a great custom or rod in my book, those subtle changes that you scratch your head over and say, "That's different, how do they do that?"[cl

Chop, chop, back to work. After pondering awhile, I settled on a 1 3/4" lowering at the rear, cut out the sail panels.

Cut the door frame to pull it back

Trimmed and tacked in place.

New profile shaping up. I found I didn't have to cut above the A pillars to bring the rear down as there was enough flex in the roof to make it work - one less thing to weld up after.

Looking from the rear, the window looks too low....

I cut it loose from the top and after slight trimming, tacked the rear edge back onto the panel it was cut from.

Clamped into position, 1" higher into the roof, still sloped forward a bit compared to stock.
