My bride and I went to Lubbock Texas last weekend to a gymnastics meet
that my granddaughter was in.
Got stopped on Highway 27 for driving a little fast (85 in a 70 zone) by a
very professional and polite police officer.

He asked for my drivers license etc etc. Then he just smiles at me and says
You'll never change will you?

He was the son of a friend during my days of terrorizing the streets of
Albuquerque. We used to go to the drags and our boys were pretty good
buddies.

Small world sometimes.
Didn't even give me a ticket.

With my luck, it would be the son of the cop who bodily removed me and shoved his pistol in my face.

(30 years ago and I deserved it... trust me!)

.

Life is good sometimes.
Like I told him, that's the sweet spot in my Dodge Cummins.
20 mpg at 80 to 85 mph all day, every day.

I HAVENT FIGURED OUT THE SWEET SPOT ON MINE. DO WE HAVE THE SAME REAR AND ENGINE?
i think your truck is 3 years newer?

No, they went to the common rail fuel injection system in 2003.
The rear end ratios are different due to the fact mine is an automatic
and yours is the six speed manual trans.

Same bird different flock.
