Finally got the metal work done and got the other side in primer, long Hot days. Got a new after market hood and deck lid that don't fit for chit so its time to break out the big guns. Have to open up the inner fenders a bit.

Got the hood and deck lid reshaped finally, what a pain in the azz. If you ever have to buy new GM sheet metal don't get it from Total Restoration they suck! Customer service and the parts! SUCK!
But anyway, its in finish primer and time to take it apart again and get it all cut in. The light at the end of the tunnel

Maybe it is just my eye, or the angle of the picture, but the body lines at the wheel wells look like they dip down.

Must be the picture because they actually bow out a bit now, that might be throwing it off a bit, we did that so he could get 15" rims with L60 tires on it. They came with 14" rims and skinny little bias ply tires.

Ya got me worried now. I can't find any straight down the side shots.[S

That is almost the color I originally chose for my 67... you are killing me here!
Luckily I ended up with corvette red, so you are not killing me as bad.

That is looking really good, good color choice!

Got the rest of the parts cut in today and now I can put it back together for the last time and shoot the whole thing. There actually might be light at the end of this tunnel.

Oh wow, I love that color on those little boxes. And like Dirtyrat said, red is the only other color that looks right on a Chevy II. Can't wait to see the finished product. I'll be waiting [P

Doors rehung with detailed latchs/strikers and new seals. Fenders on with all new stock type black hardware. Almost ready for the last waltz:rolleyes:
