Nice! I'm so envious. I wish I had the time and a larger space to do that kind of work.

So do I. The shop belongs to the guy funding this project and it will be moved to my little hole in the country as soon as the 37 Plymouth PU project is done. Part of the deal for doing this car is that I have a small corner in there for my 52 to just get it running and driving. For that I am very thankful or it would be stuck in storage for god knows how long.

Wow! that car is in more pieces than Humpty Dumpty. But you are the man for the job. Gonna be a beauty.

Its just so dam cold here I can't afford to keep pumping propane into my heater so I have been getting what little rust work done on the SS-LS Malibu in Gregs shop. Had to replace the lower outside 6 inchs on the right rear wheel well along with the filler between it and the rear bumper,(outer edge of the trunk floor) Cut it out of a repop part and butt welded it in.[;)

There isn't one nut or bolt left on it to come off. This is going to be a very detailed extreme Pro Touring car with a very large budget so its the only way to do it. Time will tell but we are shooting for a July 4th finish date.

Spent the last 3 days prepping the frame for paint. The pics really do it no Justice it is a very deep metallic black with silver and gold flake. To bad it will never be seen:rolleyes:

It looks outstanding in the pics so it must be over the top in person. Nice work C12. How tedious was it?

Tedious? that's a good word for it I guess.. 37 hrs of sanding and primeing and sanding some more and then trying to get the paint wet all over with all the brackets and weird angles wasn't real easy but hey, its just a frame:rolleyes:

Doing the body will be a real chore if the owner wants the underside like this:eek:

I like the way that frame turned out, and I'm sure you will be able to asee alittle of it in the engine bay lol...:D

Been battling a bad cold the last few days but today I got back on the LS-SS and rebuilt the right rear corner and its almost ready for the new quarter skin.[;)

That's some very nice work!

What type of paint/primer do you use?[S

We are use'n R&M on this one. The guy paying the bills is a huge NAPA customer, one of the top 3 in the area so he is getting a hell of a deal on all the supplies. Its the 1st time I have used it and sofar I like it a lot.

started fitting the Vintage air/heat so that I can get the fire wall plated.
