The wheel mounting flanges had to be changed from studs & wheel nuts, to bolts, and I finally got them back last week. I needed them back in to be able to cut the wheel openings one last time and wire the edges.

Due to the size and shape of the fender I was not able to roll the lip on the bead roller all the way to some hammer / dolly work was involved. The last bit to really tuck in the wire was a bit tricky since there is radius in the panel right up to the wired edge. I usually use a mallet & stake to do that but it worked like crap on this fender.
I used these pipe-fitters pliers to push the last bit in and it worked great.
The top jaw pushes forward when you put pressure on and it curls the lip very nicely around the wire :)

I think tomorrow may be the day for touchdown [cl I need to position the taillights and I`d rather do that on ground level...

thanks gents...
I would say you are perfectly capable of dealing with any pita thrown at ya, Doc... :D

Right now I`m glad I have a project to work on and make a little money. Me & Mrs dutch rent out luxury vacation lodges built inside the old barn... needless to say, Covid19 killed that for the time being

been playing with some tape. Position and number of Led tail lights, Breaking up the surface on the front side of the fenders... the owner was thinking bolting bling to it but I would love to see 2-tone paint there.

input?

Sure. All I need is your shop full of tools, your hands and your head in place of mine. :p
