Default My old 8N Ford

A few months ago I re did my old Ford 8N tractor. Painted it, and installed new gaskets and tuned her up. Half a turn and she starts right up. Love my old tractor.1022171150.jpg

We had a 9N in the wrecking yard I worked in in the early 70s. It had a skip loader and that blade thingy on the back for leveling roads and stuff. It was great fun.

The thing about a '39 Ford pick-up is that that ugly grille kinda' grows on ya' after a while.

Not taking anything too seriously.

Yea I like em too. They could a little more power than that 17hp they came with. That's an easy enough fix though...

As a hobby, I used to buy these old 8N and 9N Fords, repair and paint them, then turn around and sell them. Been keeping my eye out for a 9 N with the Sherman tranny in it. Hi/Lo

When I was a little kid Dad had a TE20 Ferguson and a 9N Ford with the Sherman hi/lo. Then when I was a teenager we got an 8N and a 65 Massey-Ferguson.
