A little mock up to see how things are gonna go back together.Notice the block of wood making up the 3/4" I need in the back.
Think three times,
Measure twice,
Cut once!!

Sneaky!

Awesome! Great job.[cl Man, you sure look like someone I know!:) Seems like I know you or something!:):) Keepum comin![;)

Let the welding begin!! I only took 3" out of the back window to give me a little seeing room.I used panel clamps, but cut me some 1/4" rod about 4" long it gave a little more holding power than the little 1"x 1/4 square they come with.

Nice job on the chop. That cab isn't the easiest to chop, at least, from my limited experience. The grandson & I did one a year ago and it wasn't nearly as neat a job as you did. BTW, I went to the Street Rod Nationals in Tulsa in 1976. Stayed in a downtown hotel. NOBODY looked like you two guys.

Just a little update on some of the progress. My grill has a big hole at the bottom, so until I paint it all up and get a pretty chrome one I made a spider to distract from the hole.

If you ever need a giant C clamp and you have a Harbor Freight english wheel just take it off its stand and use a engine hoist to support it.LOL
I was trying to fix some issues with my bed sides.

Just checked out your build for the first time. Lovin it! From the floor pan to the Spider. Chop also looks great. Will keep an eye on this one. Good Job!! Did you use alot of bondo on the cab. Reason i am asking is my chop on my 41 is going to need a lil. LOL and hope it turns out half as good as yours does.
