Me Likey ! ! !

Did you narrow up the rear at all? Are you gonna chop the top? And, did you channel the cab?

Looks good ! ! !

I am also building a 41.

Spoon

No the rear is not been narrowed just shortened the bed about a foot.

The cab was not channeled, I cut out the old floor and just used 1 inch tubing to built the new floor. The bottom of the cab sits .5 inch above the bottom of the frame with the 1 inch body mounts installed.

I keep going back and forth with chopping the top, I have access to a donor if cab if I choose to do it.

Got a little more work done this weekend. Was able to get the front suspension and brakes on her and got the rear bags on... First time she has seen sunlight is 2 1/2 years. Doesn't sit as low as I wanted it to in the front, not sure what to do about that yet. Wanted about a 5.5- 6" ride height but it is sitting at 7.5".

The frame dimensions look good, the spring is not too thick, and the perch location is right--looks to me like you need an axle with 2 more inches of drop.

If I could only find a 6 inch drop axle that doesn't cost as much as the entire front end kit I already have.

It's been awhile since I updated this build page, I am about 6 weeks from getting it on the road. Decided to chopped the top 3 inches.

Swapped out the 4" axle for a 6" axle, now she sits low enough. Got more street friendly wheels installed, and made the bed floor.

As she sits today, still have to finish the bed and the doors, figure out what to do about a grill insert, get glass made, install a radio, align and she will be ready for the road. The goal is to have her ready by the first of May and take here on the power tour. I figure 3500 miles is a good break in trip.

Looks great! I hope you have good luck on the power tour. I made my own grille insert for the Graham. There's no way I was finding one, so I bought 120' of 1/8 rod and started fabricating.

Well it's been a fun/ frustrating build. Learned alot along the way in the past 5 years. She is finally done and on the road. I've put about 700 miles on her in the past 3 weeks trying to get everything lined out for the power tour.
