Billetproof Replacement Show

Well, Billetproof was cancelled because of fairgrounds scheduling problems. My young friend Jeff aka Titus knows the guy that produces the Billetproof series. Jeff agreed to have a show and swap meet at his house. Around a hundred cars were expected. As bad luck would have it, a cold rain started Friday night and continued all day. Here are some of the cars that did come out.

Here's a Brookville Deuce roadster Jeff is building for a customer

The Olds dashboard in the deuce.

A couple other projects in the shop.
When I left Jeff had about 80 pounds of pulled pork left over. This would have been a great gathering of cool iron if the weather was decent.

2014 Back To The 50's

Over 11,000 cars 1964 and older. Here's a tiny sample.

Brookville bodied roadster just finished for a customer by my young friend Titus.

Cool truck with original condition body.

A '50 Chevy Ute. Neato.

It's a keeper.

Hundreds of gasser style cars this year.

Day Glo orange. Not my favorite.

Oil burner.

Plain and simple...and nice.

Is it a hit or a miss?

Probably a Ute that never was.

Okay, the quiz for the day is, what model is this beautiful Buick wagon?

A belated "Right You Are", Snake Farm. And the Buick was darn near perfect.

Funny you should ask, E-Man. I've been watching Youtube videos from this year's Back to the 50's and am amazed at all the cars I didn't see.

A Trio From Gruber's Thur. Nite Picnic

For hauling stuff home from the home improvement store.

A tire frying SS454.

Style and comfort in one BIG package.

Only a dozen or so cars and people this week because of the 4th and the Goodguys show in Des Moines.
