I'm not sure what to call this... :D I found it while sorting potato seed at a local farm. Wisconsin engine on the front, small backhoe on the back, weird rubber tracks around four regular tires and wheels, hydraulic drive.

I was wondering about the tracks too.

First, how'd they get them on the tires? I wonder if one of the axles slips forward. Second, it doesn't look like they would help that much for load distribution without support in the middle.

Looks cool though.
 
I've been too busy to get over there and get a closer look. I got those pics as they were waiting for me to get started the other day. :D I'll try to get a better idea of what's going one when we're done sorting.
